Portland Type 1

    Type 1 is general purpose portland cement to be used when special properties of other cement types are not required. Typical applications include foundations, paving slabs, sidewalks, bridges, masonry units, and precast concrete products.



Portland Type 2

   Type 2 is general use applications when moderate sulfate resistance or moderate heat of hydration is desired. Type 2 will usually generate less heat and at a slower rate than Type 1.
 

Portland Type 3

    Type 3, when compared to Type 1, generates higher early compressive strengths. This product is usually chemically the same as Type 1 except it is ground finer. Type 3 is typically used when forms need to be removed quickly. Type 3 is also used in cold weather to aid slower hydration conditions.


Type N & S Mortar

    Lafarge Masonry Cement/Mortar is specially formulated and manufactured to produce masonry mortar for use on brick, block, and stone masonry construction when mixed with mason's sand and clean, potable water. Lafarge Masonry cement is also used to produce stucco.
 
    Lafarge Type N and S Masonry Cement will make ASTM C 270 mortar for unit masonry with minimum compressive strengths of 750 psi, 1800 psi, and 2500 psi in 28 days, respectively.
 
 
 
 

White type 1 Portland

    White Mortar Cement is used to produce architectural concrete that exhibits uniform, white, light and warm colored surface finishes.
 

White Type N Mortar

    White Type N Masonry Cement/Mortar is specially manufactured to produce white masonry mortar for use on brick, block, and stone masonry construction when mixed with a mason's sand and clean, potable water.
